My Development as a Gamer
Overall I have developed as both a human and in my knowledge through video games. An example of my knowledge would be increased facts of history. Most games are based or run off from historical events. In which, they actually present historical facts in the game, and they do tend to stick in my head. My grammar and writing abilities have also been positively affected by gaming. I would say that my vocabulary has increased
and spelling. All thanks to the immense subtitles, which are usually correct. As a writer, I have a tendency to write in chronological order now, and more creatively because games are built by that sequence. Don't get me wrong some games in fact also have random orders, but I usually play the more ordered and think provoking types. |
